Services and Fellowships
【Sunday】
・09:15～10:45 Sunday School
During this time children from little ones to Jr. High Schoolers get together, praise God and play fun games, and listen to the Bible story. Parents are, too, most welcome!
・11:00～12:15 First Service
This is the main worship service of the church. Regularly we have 25 to 30 people gathering together to praise God, pray and listen to the pastor's sermon. The service is held in a typical traditional style. If you bring your little children, use a back space of the hall where we have some toys for them to play. Or, if you are willing, you can worship in the first floor while listenning to the service through speakers.
・19:00～20:00 Second Service
The Second Service is mainly for those who cannot come to the first one, but a few people choose this time on their own. The service is held in a comtemporary style (praise and worship).
【Wednesday】
・10:30～12:00 Bible Study and Prayer
Our pastor interpret the Scriptures in a understandable way for all. Any questions or opinions can be shared this time, followed by a prayer time. Sometimes lunch with fun chatting time follows after that!
・20:00～21:30 Bible Study and Prayer
The same contents as the morning Bible study
【The 3rd Friday】
・19:00～21:00 Teenagers' Fellowship
This is especially for Jr. high school and high school students. They have fun fime with supper, while chatting, playing games, watching movies and sharing their own topics.
We as Oroku Baptist Church focus on the Sunday Worship Services and the Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer Meetings as the two main programs. We learn the Bible as the innevitable source of our Spiritual neutrition and worship God through our Savior Jesus Christ.
Apart from the above regular assemblies, we have special events on Christmas and Easter days, a summer camp, a music concert, a few special seminars, barbeque parties, a bowling competition, etc. Small children as well as the elderly gather together here in Oroku Baptist Church as if we are the ture family!
